Children and guns should always be placed apart from each other. Unless you think you are a responsible parent and gun owner, don’t even attempt to expose children to firearms. What can be helpful and useful on the other hand, is if you practice great care with guns at home, with the children. Teach them how things should be properly used so they become aware that these kinds of things are not to be tampered or taken for granted.
