The children broke my window and my ceramics.

This Halloween, some neighborhood children were playing pranks on homeowners in the area. They were toilet papering the trees in their yards, throwing eggs at their cars, and corning their windows. The kids threw corn at my livingroom window. It shattered, and the ceramics, that I had on the window sill, broke too. I was very upset, especially about the ceramics that were broken. They had belonged to my mother, who had recently passed away.
